Surplus And Refurbish Transformers

Background
The University of North Dakota (UND) Facilities has a surplus of transformers that they intend to dispose of in exchange for a credit amount. This credit can be utilized to refurbish a separate group of transformers, aligning with the agency's mission to manage resources effectively and maintain operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a quote for the following:
1) Surplus Transformer Credit based on the list of surplus transformers provided in the attachments. The contractor is expected to pick up and deliver the transformers at their own cost.
2) Refurbish Transformer Quote, which requires a quote based on the refurbishment list in the attachments. The bid will be awarded using a worst-case scenario price, acknowledging that not all transformers will require major work. The final charge will be based on actual work completed, not exceeding the worst-case scenario price.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is from July 22, 2025, to January 27, 2026.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for pickup and delivery is implied to be at UND facilities.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must affirm their ability to meet delivery deadlines and confirm that their bids meet the required specifications within the solicitation. Additionally, bidders are required to upload a signed Bidder Information and Signature page.
