Background
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of winter safety jackets to meet safety requirements for its personnel. The goal is to ensure that all employees are equipped with high-visibility, durable jackets that comply with safety standards.

Work Details
The contract involves providing Majestic High Visibility Transformer Jackets 8-in-1 Waterproof Jacket with Fleece Liner (75-1383) or an approved equivalent. The jackets must be constructed from high-performance polyester with a polyurethane coating, featuring a zip-out insulated fleece liner and a fleece collar. They must be Class 3, Type R waterproof material, meeting ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 standards. The jackets should be fluorescent yellow-green with reflective strips made from 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material for visibility. Specific construction details include elastic rib cuffs, a heavy-duty zipper, and a removable hood. Sizes required range from Medium to 6XL and Tall sizes from Large to 4XL.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The jackets will be delivered to various NDDOT district locations across North Dakota including Bismarck, Valley City, Devils Lake, Minot, Dickinson, Grand Forks, Williston, and Fargo.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including providing samples if bidding on non-Majestic models. A one-year warranty is required for the jackets. Bidders must also submit certifications for materials used in the jacket construction and ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws.
