Background

NDSU is seeking proposals for budget and planning software to enhance its financial planning capabilities.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide budget and planning software that meets the following specifications:
1. **Software Capabilities**: Must integrate with NDSU's current ERP system (PeopleSoft) and have the potential for future integrations.
2. **Workflow Features**: Should include tracking changes, creating customized workflows, version tracking, etc.
3. **Drill Down Functionality**: Ability to drill down into data for detailed analysis.
4. **User-Friendliness**: The software should be intuitive with customizable fields and labels.
5. **Reporting Capabilities**: Must offer both prebuilt and customizable reports with automated distribution options and export capabilities to Excel.
6. **Forecasting Features**: Should support multiple scenarios and multi-year forecasting.
7. **Data Management**: Describe read/write capabilities, data extraction from Excel, custom field creation, data storage solutions, security protocols, incident response processes.
8. **Implementation Strategy**: Outline the implementation process including team involvement and estimated timelines.
9. **Ongoing Support**: Provide details on post-implementation support and training.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution of the contract with an option for extension based on mutual agreement.
