NDDOT Fargo District Roadway Sweeping

Background
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) Fargo District is seeking bids for Roadway Sweeping Services as part of their Roadway Sweeping Program. The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and safety on the roadways within the Fargo Metropolitan Area and surrounding regions by providing regular street sweeping services.

Work Details
The contractor will perform roadway sweeping services 1 to 3 times per year, specifically in April, June, and September, with actual dates determined by NDDOT. The areas to be swept include:
- 19th Avenue North between Dakota Drive and I-29 (1,514 feet per side)
- 12th Avenue North interchange at I-29 Bridge overhead
- I-29 concrete jersey barrier in median from just South of 19th Avenue to South of I-94 (approximately 20,800 feet per side)
- Various bridge edges along I-94 and ND 13
- NDDOT Fargo District parking lot and visitor centers along I-29.

The contractor must have a minimum of three mechanical double gutter truck style pick-up brooms (2009 or newer) equipped with safety features. Disposal of sweepings will occur at designated NDDOT storage yards or approved sites. The contractor will also be responsible for using water during operations to control dust, which will be provided by NDDOT at no charge.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from April 1, 2025, to April 1, 2026, with the possibility of two additional one-year renewals based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in the Fargo Metropolitan Area and Wahpeton areas in North Dakota.
