Background
The North Dakota Game and Fish Department is seeking proposals for janitorial services to maintain the Bismarck Main Office Building, Shop Building, and Lab Building.
The main office building, constructed in 1985, is approximately 43,050 square feet and serves as a hub for local, regional, and statewide meetings.
The department aims to keep these facilities in a neat, clean, and professional appearance.

Work Details
The contractor will provide daily janitorial services for the Bismarck Main Office Building and weekly services for the Shop Building and Lab Building.
Specific tasks include:
- Daily cleaning duties such as emptying waste receptacles, dust mopping floors, damp mopping spills, vacuuming carpeted areas, cleaning restrooms (sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies), and ensuring all areas are left secure.
- Weekly tasks include vacuuming all carpet areas at least twice per week, dusting surfaces, cleaning showers in restrooms during summer months, and maintaining cleanliness in breakrooms.
- Monthly duties involve deep cleaning of specific areas like windows and light fixtures.
- Semi-annual tasks include deep cleaning of luxury vinyl tile flooring and scrubbing/waxing resilient tile floors annually.
The contractor must also ensure that personnel assigned to clean the lab pass a criminal history background check.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on April 1, 2026, with an initial term of 12 months and options for four additional 12-month renewals.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the North Dakota Game and Fish Department facilities located at 100 N Bismarck Expressway, Bismarck, ND.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must have at least one year of experience providing commercial janitorial services.
Additionally, personnel assigned to clean the lab must pass a criminal history background check with specified disqualifiers including felony convictions and certain drug use histories.
