Background
The State of North Dakota is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to establish a statewide contract for Janitorial Products and Disposable Food Service Products.
The aim is to provide state agencies and institutions with access to essential cleaning and food service supplies, while also promoting environmentally preferable products (EPP), bio-based, and recycled products as mandated by state law.
Work Details
The contractor will supply various janitorial products and disposable food service items, including but not limited to:
- Paper Towels: Must contain at least 40% post-consumer waste (PCW).
- Bathroom Tissue: Minimum 20% PCW.
- Facial Tissue: Minimum 20% PCW.
- Soap products with specific MSDS/SDS ratings and no refillable reservoirs or alcohol.
All products must comply with specifications regarding EPP, biobased content, and recycled materials.
The contractor must also provide soap dispensing equipment compatible with the soap solutions offered at no additional cost.
Delivery of all products must occur within 10 days of order placement, F.O.B. Destination to any North Dakota location.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on December 20, 2024, and conclude on February 1, 2026.
There is an option for the state to extend the contract for an additional period not exceeding 12 months beyond the current termination date.
