Background
The City of Durham, North Carolina, is issuing this solicitation for the West Woodridge Drive Infrastructure Repairs Project under Contract SD-2025-05. The project aims to enhance the stormwater drainage system and water main along a section of West Woodridge Drive, which is critical for maintaining public infrastructure and ensuring effective water management in the area.

Work Details
The project involves the complete installation and repair of the stormwater drainage system and water main along West Woodridge Drive. This includes:
- Furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. necessary for the work.
- Specific tasks include:
- Select tree removal (various diameters)
- Pipe removal
- Installation of catch basins and drainage manholes
- Excavation for drainage ditches
- Installation of water service lines and valves
- Paving work including asphalt milling and concrete curb installation.
- Compliance with City of Durham Standards, NCDOT Standards, and NCDENR standards is required throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The project must be completed within 150 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed along West Woodridge Drive in Durham, North Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. All bids must include a non-collusion affidavit. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a bid security in the form of cash or a certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount.
