Wedgewood Greens Covers

Background
The City of Wilson is issuing a request for quotes for greens covers at the Wedgewood Golf Course, which is part of the City’s Municipal Golf Course. This initiative is funded by a Community Project Funding Grant awarded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The goal of this contract is to procure necessary materials to protect the golf course greens.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of greens covers for a total area of 122,527 square feet across 21 surfaces. The quote must include:

1. Cost for greens covers calculated per square foot based on the total area.
2. Approximately 1,699 surface anchor stakes needed for securing the covers.
3. 20 sun protected surface storage bags for storing the covers when not in use.
4. Shipping costs must also be included in the quote.

The total cost to the City will be calculated as the sum of cover costs, surface anchor stakes costs, and shipping costs, excluding taxes.

Period of Performance
The request date for quotes is March 27, 2025, with all quotes due on or before April 4, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Wedgewood Golf Course, located in Wilson.
