Background
The City of Charlotte is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of approximately 180 buildings, including offices, fire stations, police division offices, and equipment shops.
The City also oversees cultural facilities such as museums and arenas that serve as venues for various events.
The goal of this contract is to provide Emergency Mitigation Clean-Up Services across various locations as identified by the City, which may be utilized by different City departments including the Airport and the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS).
Work Details
The Consultant shall provide Emergency Mitigation Clean-Up Services that include rapid response for containment, demolition, disposal, drying, cleaning, and decontamination for water and/or smoke damage.
All services must comply with IICRC standards and RIA guidelines on a per-incident basis.
The Consultant is responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision as directed by the City’s Project Manager.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the Effective Date in 2024 and will continue until a specified expiration date as outlined in the agreement.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations identified by the City of Charlotte.
Bidder Requirements
The Consultant must be a professional corporation doing business in North Carolina.
Additionally, compliance with the Charlotte Business Inclusion Program is required.
The Consultant must also maintain all necessary licenses and insurance as specified in the agreement.
