Vehicle Wrap Services for Police Pursuit Vehicles

Background
The City of Raleigh is seeking proposals for vehicle wrap services for the Raleigh Police Department (RPD). The RPD has utilized a blue and white color scheme on its vehicles for over 40 years, which is a significant part of their brand identity. The department has transitioned from painting vehicles to wrapping them as a more cost-effective solution, allowing for easy removal before auctioning.

The goal of this contract is to find contractors who can match the existing color scheme and apply high-quality wraps with skill.

Work Details
The contractor will provide vehicle wrapping services that include:
- Initial wrapping of new vehicles and repair of existing wraps on damaged vehicles.
- Use of high-quality film that closely matches the current color scheme, with exceptions noted where film may not adhere.
- Delivery of a product with high-quality workmanship, ensuring no visible seams, bubbles in the film, or missed areas.
- Completion of wrapping in a timely manner as determined by the department.
- A pricing structure for five years that includes costs per vehicle for various types (midsize SUVs like Ford Explorer, full-size pickups like Chevrolet Silverado, and full-size SUVs like Chevrolet Tahoe) and hourly labor rates for repairs.
- Capability to perform at least 60 initial wraps per year.
- Provision of electronic billing invoices with detailed information including receipt number, vehicle number, division, and total purchase amount.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a term of five (5) years starting from the date of contract award.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Raleigh, North Carolina.
