Turnkey Installation of Video Projector and Motorized Screen at Konnoak Middle School

Background
Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools (WS/FCS) is seeking bids for a turnkey installation project of a video projector and motorized projector screen at Konnoak Middle School. The goal of this contract is to enhance the audiovisual capabilities of the school's auditorium, thereby supporting educational activities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a new laser-style video projector with a minimum of 8000 lumens, a motorized projector screen with an estimated size of 170x105 inches, and Extron (or equivalent) wall control units for up to two locations. The contractor must also supply all necessary mounts, cables, wall racks, conduits, and hardware required for complete installation.

Professional installation services include:
- Installation and calibration of the projector and screen including mounting hardware.
- Installation of up to two wall control panels with testing and verification.
- Compliance with all NC state and federal codes as well as WS/FCS standards during installation.
- Training and documentation for WS/FCS staff on system use.
- Cleanup and disposal of all packing materials and waste from the site.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that accommodates the school’s schedule, with specific dates to be determined during the pre-bid meeting.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Konnoak Middle School located at 410 Haverhill Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
