Tree Pruning and Removal Services Needed at UNCG Campus and Piney Lake Property

Background
The University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) is seeking Contractor(s) to perform miscellaneous tree pruning and removal services on its campus, which includes 125 buildings across over 200 acres.
The contract will also cover services at the Piney Lake property located at 4016 Blumenthal Road, Greensboro, NC 27406.
This solicitation aims to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract for convenience, with no guaranteed minimum spend under the contract.

Work Details
Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for tree pruning and removal services. The work may include:
1. Tree pruning according to current ANSI A300 Tree Care Standards.
2. Tree removal.
3. Installation of cabling/bracing.
4. Pruning limbs away from roofs and outdoor lights.
5. Removal of damaged tree limbs.
6. Stump removal.
All work must comply with OSHA standards and local codes.
The Contractor must furnish equipment such as chipper, dump truck, skid loader, chainsaw, ropes, climbing gear, safety gear, barricades, and pole pruners.
The Contractor is responsible for site barricading and debris removal. Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday unless otherwise approved by UNCG Facilities Operations.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year starting from the date of final contract execution or April 1, 2025, whichever is later.
The contract may be renewed for up to two additional one-year terms at the State's discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed on the UNCG campus in Greensboro, NC and at the Piney Lake property located at 4016 Blumenthal Road.
