Transportation Service Contract for Wake County Public Schools' 2024 Level Up Program

Background
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is currently the largest school district in North Carolina and the 15th largest in the United States. There are currently 192 schools serving a student population of approximately 162,000.
Wake County covers 854 square miles.

Work Details
The Wake County Public School System is seeking price, schedule, and service proposals to establish one or more service contracts for the transportation of students during the district’s 2024 Level Up afterschool, weekend, and summer learning program. Vendors will facilitate transportation for an estimated 50-70 students for afterschool, weekend, and summer learning programs known as Level Up.
Approximately 40 schools will participate in the program. Transportation must be provided to students participating in the program to meet the time requirements of their tutoring sessions at the different site locations.

Period of Performance
The contract shall be awarded for the period of April, 2024 – September 30, 2024 (with flexible consideration given to each vendor, depending on vendor capacity). WCPSS reserves the right to renew for additional terms at its discretion.
