Town of Mooresville Website Redesign, Development & Modernization

Background
The Town of Mooresville (ToM) is seeking a qualified vendor to redesign and develop its official website (mooresvillenc.gov) and subsidiary departmental sites.

The current website, hosted on AWS with Cloudflare CDN, was built in 2022 by Revize, garners over 700,000 annual visits, and comprises over 600 webpages.

This project aims to enhance user experience, streamline content management, improve visual communication, and provide clear information to residents, businesses, and visitors.

Work Details
The scope of work includes a phased approach consisting of:

- Discovery and Planning: audience research, wireframes, visual style guide.
- Design and Development: website development with CMS integration, user-friendly navigation.
- Content Migration and Creation: migrating existing content.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: internal testing for functionality and accessibility.
- Deployment and Launch: redirect strategy implementation.
- Training and Post-Launch Support: training for internal users.

Key features include mobile responsiveness, WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, integration with third-party applications like Granicus and E-Tix, dynamic homepage features, online forms, document center functionalities, SEO optimization, and ongoing maintenance support.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to commence upon contract award with an estimated deployment within a year of the contract start date.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at the Town of Mooresville's location in North Carolina.
