Term Contract for Supply and Delivery of Aggregate ABC Material in Gates County

Background
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking to establish a term contract for the supply and delivery of Aggregate ABC Material to its Gates County Maintenance location. This contract aims to ensure the availability of approved aggregate materials necessary for the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects across the state.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and delivering 6,000 tons of Aggregate ABC Material on an as-needed basis. Deliveries must be made Free-On-Board (FOB) Destination to the Gates County Maintenance facility located at 304 US HWY 158 WEST, Gatesville, NC 27938. The successful vendor is required to complete deliveries within twenty (20) consecutive calendar days after receipt of an order. Deliveries will only be accepted Monday through Friday, excluding State Holidays, between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one (1) year from the date of final contract execution. The State reserves the right to extend the contract term with the vendor's concurrence after the last active term.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered in good standing with North Carolina's Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP). They are required to complete various attachments including HUB Supplemental Vendor Information, Certification of Financial Condition, and Location of Workers Utilized by Vendor. Additionally, vendors must comply with all applicable state laws including those related to fair employment practices and E-Verify requirements.
