Term Contract for Recycled Aggregate Material Pickup and Delivery Services

Background
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking to establish an agency-specific term contract for the provision of Recycled Aggregate Material. This contract aims to facilitate the pickup and delivery of aggregate products to designated sites as needed for various projects and inventory management. The NCDOT utilizes various aggregate materials across the state for the construction of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure, as well as for weather-related projects.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Recycled Aggregate Material that must be picked up by NCDOT state-owned or contracted trucks. The materials will be used at various locations within designated counties in Division 10 on an as-needed basis. The contractor is required to ensure that the aggregate is available for pickup during normal working hours at specified stockpile sites.

The contract includes an initial term of two years with potential extensions upon mutual agreement. Specific aggregate types include Select Backfill, #5 Stone, ABC, and #67 Stone, with estimated quantities outlined in the pricing form.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of two (2) years starting from the date of final contract execution, with options for extension based on vendor concurrence.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in designated counties within North Carolina, specifically those under Division 10 jurisdiction.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered vendors in good standing with North Carolina and provide their eVP (Electronic Vendor Portal) number. Vendors are encouraged to demonstrate compliance with Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) participation goals by utilizing diverse firms as subcontractors. Additionally, vendors must certify their financial stability and compliance with E-Verify requirements for employee authorization.
