Background
The Department of Administration (DOA) serves as the business manager for North Carolina State government and provides leadership to State government for the effective, efficient, economical, and equitable delivery of services to the public. The department also aids and services several advocacy programs that serve diverse segments of the State’s population that have traditionally been underserved.
The Division of Purchase & Contract (P&C) is the strategic force to provide the State’s entities with a catalog of Statewide Term Contracts (STC) that provide for an encompassing organized and efficient manner to pool resources to provide goods and services.

Work Details
The State of North Carolina (State) through the Department of Administration (DOA) Division of Purchase and Contract (P&C) is seeking qualified vendors to establish a Statewide Term Contract to furnish and deliver a comprehensive, multiple manufacturer product line of new Furniture on an “As Needed” basis, if and when ordered by State Departments, Agencies, and Higher Education Institutions during the contract period. Vendor offerings must meet one or more of the following categories: Category I: Casegoods (Desks, Credenzas, Conference Tables), Category II: Classroom, Category III: Bookcases, Category IV: Ergonomic Chairs, Category V: Office Swivel & Side Chairs, Category VI: Computer, Category VII: Mobile & Folding, Category VIII: Upholstered Seating, Category IX: Commercial Dining, Category X: Metal Cabinets, Category XI: Cosmetology, Category XII: Office Systems, Open Plan, Category XIII: Desks, Sit-To-Stand, Category XIV: Shelving, Metal, Wood, Library,
Category XV: Dormitory,
Category XVI: Outdoor Furniture,
Category XVII: Residential,
Institutional,
Library,
Academic,
and Molded Furniture.
In addition to accessories or optional items related to a product line in one of the above categories.

Period of Performance
The Contract shall have a term of three (3) years beginning on the date of final Contract execution with the option to renew for two (2) additional two-year terms. The estimated spend based on historical data is approximately $232 million for furniture during FY 2018-2023 under the previous contract.
