Supply of DEMA Engineering Parts

Background
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) is seeking competitive sealed bids to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract for the supply and delivery of DEMA Engineering Parts. This initiative aims to support the Correction Enterprises Janitorial Products Plant, which provides offenders with skills while producing janitorial supplies for various institutions across North Carolina.

The contract will be executed on an 'As Needed' basis, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantities.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of various DEMA Engineering Parts, specifically: Liquid Feed Injection Elbow, Repair Kits for models 153 and 154, various types of tubing (including sv Tubing and Vinyl Tubing), Diaphragm Foot Valve/EP Seal, Proportioners, Squirt Drain Pumps, Outlet Tubing, Valve Repair Kits, Blend Centers, Pipe Plug & O-Ring Assemblies, and other specified items.

Each item must meet or exceed the specifications outlined in the solicitation. The vendor is required to deliver these items Free-On-Board (FOB) Destination to the Janitorial Products Plant located at 231 Soul City Blvd., Norlina, NC 27563 within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of a purchase order.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is three (3) years from the date of final execution. The State has the option to renew the contract for up to 180 days in increments of 90 days or less.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for performance is primarily at the Janitorial Products Plant of NCDAC located at 231 Soul City Blvd., Norlina, NC 27563.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered as a North Carolina vendor in good standing and provide a signed statement from the manufacturer confirming authorization to distribute or resell DEMA products.

Vendors are also required to complete various attachments including HUB Supplemental Vendor Information and Customer Reference Forms. Additionally, vendors must certify their financial stability and comply with all federal and state requirements concerning fair employment practices.
