Supply of Aluminum Sulfate for Water & Wastewater Treatment

Background
The Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) is seeking sealed bids from qualified suppliers for the supply of Aluminum Sulfate, used in water and wastewater treatment processes. OWASA is a trusted partner for clean water and environmental protection.

Work Details
The supplier is required to deliver Aluminum Sulfate in tank truck quantities of approximately 4,300 gallons, meeting specific purity and impurity requirements.
The estimated annual consumption of Aluminum Sulfate is approximately 900 Dry Tons. The supplier must ensure timely delivery with proper unloading equipment and adhere to strict delivery locations and times.

Period of Performance
The contract term will be for one year commencing on July 1, 2024, with the option for OWASA to extend for two additional one-year periods. The supplier must notify OWASA of the Adjusted Price for each extension year at least 60 days prior to the commencement of that extension year.

Place of Performance
Deliveries are expected within two weeks from the order date to either the Water Treatment Plant or Wastewater Treatment Plant in Carrboro, NC or Chapel Hill, NC.
