Sewer and Water Line Installation and Rehabilitation Project

Background
The City of Raleigh, North Carolina, through Raleigh Water, is issuing a solicitation for the Sewer and Water Line Installation and Rehabilitation Project.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the city's water and sewer infrastructure, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.

Work Details
The project involves the following major items:
- Approximately 2,600 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer lines and appurtenant items;
- Approximately 3,000 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer rehabilitation and appurtenant items, including rehabilitation of 16 sanitary sewer manholes;
- Approximately 560 linear feet of 16-inch water lines and appurtenant items;
- Approximately 2,300 linear feet of 8-inch water lines and appurtenant items;
- Abandonment of approximately 4,700 LF of existing water main and approximately 200 LF of existing sanitary sewer main;
- Associated pavement and surface restoration, erosion control, bypass pumping, and other appurtenances.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence after the bid award on October 16, 2024.
Specific timelines will be determined based on the contractor's proposal.
