Sealed Bids Requested for Personal Protective Equipment

Background
The City of Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking sealed bids for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) under ITB No. 274-2026-16-WR. The contract aims to provide the City with necessary PPE to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
The contract will be awarded for an initial term of one year, with options for up to four additional one-year renewals, contingent upon performance and funding appropriations by the Raleigh City Council.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of various types of Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to:
1. Outerwear: Rain jackets and rain pants from Alpha Workwear.
2. Safety Vests: Various sizes from Radians.
3. Gloves: Including Power Grab Premium gloves and nitrile cold weather gloves.
4. Head Protection: Safety glasses, ear plugs, earmuffs, face masks, winter hat liners, and du rags.
5. Boots and Waders: Including rubber boots from BOGS and LaCrosse hip waders.
6. Miscellaneous Items: Anti-fatigue mats, traffic wands, and disposable hand warmers.
All items must meet specified minimum requirements for quality and safety standards.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is for one year from the date of execution, with options to renew for up to four additional one-year terms, making a maximum total contract period of five years.

Place of Performance
The delivery of all products will be made FOB destination to locations within Raleigh, North Carolina as specified in the purchase orders.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with non-discrimination assurances as per City Ordinance 1969-889.
Bidders are encouraged to include participation from certified minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBE). Additionally, bidders must certify that they are not on the Final Divestment List related to Iran or engaged in a boycott of Israel.
