Background
The City of Durham is seeking qualified individuals or firms to provide utility locate services as part of Contract ST-334C for the year 2025. This initiative aims to support City Staff in managing the installation of utilities throughout Durham, ensuring compliance with the Underground Utility Safety and Damage Prevention Act outlined in Article 8A of Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing qualified and appropriately trained employees to perform utility locating services. This includes identifying and marking underground utilities accurately to prevent damage during excavation and construction activities.

Period of Performance
The qualifications submittals are due by 4:00 PM on Monday, October 28, 2024. The specific period of performance for the contract will be determined upon selection but is expected to align with the utility installation schedule throughout 2025.

Place of Performance
