Background
The Town of Selma is seeking proposals from experienced firms to provide Information Technology (IT) Management Services. The goal is to improve operational effectiveness, enhance service quality, minimize support costs, and maximize return on investment in IT. The selected vendor will act as a Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the Town's IT needs, which currently lacks an in-house IT department.

Work Details
The vendor will provide comprehensive IT management services including:

- 24/7 monitoring services
- Security services
- Hardware maintenance
- Software updates
- Troubleshooting and repair of computer systems and network server equipment
- Training for new employees
- Coordination with Tyler Technologies
- Backup and disaster recovery services.

Specific services include:

- 7x24 monitoring and alerts
- Incident response services
- Performance data collection and reporting
- Managed anti-virus/anti-spam solutions
- Malware filtering
- Managed security patches for PCs and servers
- IT Director services (VCIO)
- Annual IT budget recommendations
- Help desk support available 24/7/365
- Remote/mobile access for staff
- Management of cloud backups and disaster recovery services.

The vendor must also comply with CJIS security requirements and have a dedicated project management function.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for an initial term with potential renewals based on performance evaluations.
