Background
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill) is seeking an experienced Supplier to provide Research and Development Goods and Services. The RFP is part of a competitive procurement process to serve the University's best interests and provide Suppliers with a fair opportunity for their goods and services to be considered.
UNC-Chapel Hill is a top-ranked public R1 research university with a focus on innovative teaching, research, and public service. It houses five major health affairs schools and is home to over 50 research centers and institutes. The University seeks to maintain the highest quality services for its customers by providing Research and Development Goods and Services.
Work Details
The RFP seeks proposals for Research and Development Goods and Services, including e-commerce functionality, identification of representatives available to University users, contractual terms governing the relationship between the University and the Selected Supplier(s), plan for the utilization of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB), warranty or guarantee on goods and/or services, and references from institutions of higher education, teaching hospitals, and comparable clients.
The proposal should also include a completed version of various attachments such as pricing, instructions to vendors, UNC Chapel Hill general terms & conditions, location of workers utilized by vendor, certification of financial condition, and supplemental vendor information.
Period of Performance
The contract term is intended to have multiple open award enrollment periods with bi-annual periods of open enrollment initiated the first quarter of each even year for a ten-year term until 2032.
Selected Supplier(s) may be awarded for one or more Goods/Services Categories. The University reserves the right to make separate awards to different Suppliers for one or more-line items or cancel the RFP without awarding a Contract if it is deemed most advantageous.
