Background

The City aims to enhance communication with residents through modern messaging and public notification platforms. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to gather details on available solutions to support reliable, scalable, and user-friendly communication with residents, particularly for critical alerting and notification services.

Work Details
The City is seeking information from qualified vendors regarding modern, enterprise-level messaging and public notification platforms. The RFI aims to:
- Identify modern messaging and notification platforms;
- Understand available features and capabilities;
- Gather preliminary cost estimates for enterprise deployment;
- Explore implementation approaches and timelines;
- Inform future budgeting and procurement decisions.

Vendors are asked to provide information on company overview, platform overview, functional capabilities including emergency notifications (SMS, voice, email), non-emergency/public information messaging, two-way communication options, contact management, multilingual capabilities, reliability and performance metrics, administration ease of use, integration with existing systems, reporting tools, security compliance standards, implementation approach including timeline and required resources, pricing structure including licensing fees and optional add-ons.
