Rental and Maintenance of Portable Restroom Facilities for Campus Events

Background
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking bids for the rental and servicing of portable restroom facilities for its 49er football program events and other campus events. The goal is to ensure that all units are in 'like new appearance' to provide a seamless rental service without interruption. This includes maintaining a presentable condition before, during, and after events. Additionally, a proportionate number of units must meet ADA Handicap accessibility standards to ensure accessibility for all event attendees.

Work Details
The contract includes the rental and servicing of multiple sizes and types of portable restroom units:
- Standard Portable Restroom Rental Unit: Approximate Height 80”, Depth 47”, Width 43”
- ADA Portable Restroom Rental: Approximate Height 90”, Depth 86”, Width 66”
- 2 Stall Restroom Trailer: Approximate Height 16’, Length 12’, Width 8’
- Special Event Services for multi-day events may require additional cleaning and restocking services on-site. All units must be serviced to maintain cleanliness both inside and outside.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be three (3) years from the date of final contract execution, with options for two (2) additional one-year renewals at the discretion of the State.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with delivery locations specified on individual purchase orders depending on event locations.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered as a North Carolina vendor in good standing. They are required to complete various attachments including pricing forms, HUB supplemental vendor information, customer reference forms, location of workers utilized by vendor forms, and certification of financial condition forms. Vendors must also comply with state policies regarding fair employment practices.
