Background
The North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is issuing a contract for improvements to the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. The goal of this contract is to enhance the cemetery facilities, specifically focusing on the installation of new columbarium niches and associated site improvements.

Work Details
The work includes the installation of new columbarium niches and associated site improvements as detailed in the Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime contract, and all proposals shall be submitted as lump sum bids.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will be completed by August 7, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery located at 110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a proper license as required under state laws governing their respective trades. Additionally, bidders are required to submit the form Identification of Minority Business Participation with their bid proposal, including either Affidavit A or Affidavit B as applicable. A cash deposit or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal amount is required with each bid. A performance bond and payment bond will also be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
