RCCC North Campus Parking Lot A & B Reconfiguration - Construction Manager at Risk Services

Background
The Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) is seeking proposals for Construction Manager at Risk Services for the reconfiguration of Parking Lots A & B on its North Campus in Salisbury, NC. The project aims to enhance the parking experience and improve accessibility while adhering to environmental sustainability practices.

The total project budget is $5,000,000, and it will be executed under State Construction Office requirements.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Demolition and construction of reconfigured parking areas A & B.
- Realignment of Navigation Way in the vicinity of these parking areas.
- Installation of associated utilities, drainage systems, retention areas, hardscape, landscape elements, site furnishings, security systems, lighting, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, digital signage, directional signage, and a solar canopy.
- Pre-construction services and construction management at risk.
- Project close-out activities.
- Phased construction to maintain campus traffic and parking during the project execution.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon selection and contracting with the Project Team and will continue through project completion as outlined in the Owner's Project Requirements dated August 26, 2024.
