Pump Station and Force Main Upgrades in Four Oaks

Background
The Town of Four Oaks is requesting bids for the construction of the Pump Station and Force Main Improvements project. The project aims to enhance the town's wastewater management infrastructure, which is critical for maintaining public health and environmental standards.

Work Details
The project includes the following work:
1) Demolition and replacement of Northside Pump Station;
2) Abandonment of existing Northside Force Main and installation of approximately 2,325 linear feet of 8-inch force main;
3) Demolition and replacement of Southside Pump Station;
4) Demolition and replacement of Austin Acres Pump Station;
5) Demolition and replacement of Forest Hills Pump Station.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed until August 13, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Four Oaks, North Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87. A bid security amounting to five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid. The Owner encourages bidding by small, minority, and female contractors and does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status.
