Proposal Solicitation for Comprehensive Wireless Network Infrastructure Upgrade at Union County Campus Facilities

Background
South Piedmont Community College (SPCC) is seeking qualified vendors to submit proposals for a comprehensive wireless network infrastructure upgrade across the Braswell, Main, and Tyson Family Center for Technology buildings on their Monroe campuses.

The goal of this upgrade is to enhance network performance, streamline management, and improve security. The selected vendor will implement a Cisco Meraki solution that includes deploying access points and establishing a Layer 3 boundary at the Braswell building.

Work Details
The project involves the following key tasks:

- Deploy 112 Cisco Meraki MR46 (Indoor) and 7 MR76 (Outdoor) access points, including necessary antenna kits and mounting brackets.
- Install and configure two additional Meraki MS225 48-port dual power supply switches and two Cisco C9300-48UP-M switches, along with fiber optics and transceivers.
- Establish a Layer 3 network boundary at the Braswell building with segmentation for traffic types.
- Configure guest access and 802.1x authentication using existing Meraki SSIDs.
- Conduct testing on all installed equipment to ensure compliance with SPCC’s performance standards.
- Provide operational documentation, conduct training sessions for SPCC IT staff, and ensure post-implementation support including warranty coverage for new equipment.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to follow a timeline that includes key milestones such as installation completion, testing, training sessions, and final project deliverables within an agreed timeframe.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at South Piedmont Community College's Monroe campuses located at 4209 Old Charlotte Hwy (Braswell & Main) and 3509 Old Charlotte Hwy (Tyson Family Center for Technology), Monroe NC.
