Promotional Products Supply and Distribution

Background
The State of North Carolina, through Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC), is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract for the supply and distribution of promotional products. CPCC, located in Charlotte, NC, is dedicated to workforce development and offers a variety of educational programs. The college aims to promote itself and recruit future students by distributing various promotional items such as bags, tumblers, umbrellas, notebooks, pens, and key chains. The intent is to partner with vendors who can provide these products at a percentage discount from their published catalog prices.

Work Details
Vendors are required to furnish and deliver promotional products which may include but are not limited to:
- Non-woven lunch cooler tote bags
- Polyester drawstring backpacks
- Thermal grocery cooler bags
- Stainless steel insulated travel mugs
- Cotton twill baseball caps
- Petroleum lip balms
- Hand sanitizers with silicone sleeves
- Magnetic journals with metal pen sets
- Eco mini jotters with pens
- Rubberized pens
- Sticky notepads
- Business card magnets
- Sports water bottles
- Full-color lanyards with lobster hooks and plastic buckles
- Stadium cups
- Folding golf umbrellas
- Stress balls

The estimated quantities for these items range from 150 to 3350 units per item. Vendors must also comply with trademark licensing requirements through CLC Collegiate Licensing Company if using CPCC's logos.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be three (3) years from the date of final execution. There is an option for the State to renew the contract for up to two additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to various locations within Mecklenburg County, NC including multiple campuses of Central Piedmont Community College such as Cato Campus and Central Campus.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered as a North Carolina vendor in good standing and provide their eVP (Electronic Vendor Portal) number. They are required to comply with North Carolina General Statutes regarding fair employment practices and must verify work authorization through the E-Verify system if they have more than 25 employees. Additionally, vendors should aim for at least 10% utilization of diverse firms as subcontractors in accordance with the Historically Underutilized Business program.
