Description
Background
The State of North Carolina's Department of Administration, through its Division of Purchase & Contract, is seeking qualified vendors to establish a Statewide Term Contract (STC) for the supply and delivery of promotional items. This initiative aims to support various state functions such as public awareness campaigns, employee recognition programs, and community outreach efforts.
The STC will provide a centralized procurement resource for state entities, ensuring high-quality and competitively priced promotional items that can be customized with logos or branding. The contract also aligns with sustainability goals by promoting products with recycled or biodegradable content.
Work Details
The contract will cover a wide range of promotional items categorized as follows:
1. Apparel (e.g., T-shirts, polos, outerwear, hats, uniforms)
2. Bags & Totes (e.g., tote bags, backpacks, duffels)
3. Drinkware (e.g., mugs, tumblers, bottles)
4. Writing Instruments (e.g., pens, pencils, markers)
5. Award & Recognition Gifts (e.g., plaques, trophies)
6. Other Promotional Merchandise suitable for imprinting with logos or branding.
Vendors are expected to provide these items on an 'as needed' basis throughout the contract period.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is three years from the date of final execution, with options to renew for two additional one-year terms at the State's discretion.
Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the State of North Carolina.
Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered in good standing with North Carolina's Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP). They must comply with all applicable state laws regarding employment verification through E-Verify and adhere to fair employment practices as outlined in Executive Order 24.
Vendors are also required to disclose any additional fees associated with their services and provide evidence of their ability to meet sustainability requirements.
