Addendum 3
Background
The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) is issuing a solicitation for the Northside Wastewater Treatment Facility Miscellaneous Improvements project.

The mission of CFPUA is to provide reliable and sustainable utility services to the community. This contract aims to enhance the operational efficiency of the wastewater treatment facility.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Installing a catwalk around the secondary clarifiers to improve access and maintenance capabilities.
2. Installing a backup float system for the filtrate drain pump station, which will include SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) monitoring back to the control room for enhanced operational oversight.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will be completed within a specified timeframe as detailed in the bid documents. Bids are due on August 29, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Northside Wastewater Treatment Facility located in Wilmington, North Carolina.
