Management Services for GoRaleigh Transit Advertising Program

Background
The City of Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to manage transit advertising services for GoRaleigh assets. GoRaleigh operates as the public transit bus service for the city and Wake County, serving approximately 17,000 passengers daily across 144 square miles. The goal of this contract is to enhance revenue generation through effective advertising strategies while maintaining high standards of service and compliance with city policies.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for marketing, selling, securing advertising contracts, and providing customer service for rental spaces on 122 buses (86 peak) and 188 digital bus screens. Specific tasks include:
- Managing advertising contracts and ensuring customer service for clients.
- Maintaining a continuous sales effort in the Wake County area.
- Providing printing services as agreed with clients.
- Ensuring all displays are tasteful and meet quality standards.
- Obtaining necessary permissions and licenses for advertising materials.
- Installing and removing advertisements as requested by GoRaleigh.
- Producing an updated reach and frequency report on GoRaleigh's inventory.

Advertising space includes various sizes on buses: Kong (227” x 44”), King (144” x 30”), Queen (120” x 30”), and Tail (45” x 22”). The contractor must also manage digital advertisements on monitors within buses, ensuring compliance with the city's advertising policy. The contractor will pay GoRaleigh a percentage of gross revenues monthly along with a minimum annual guarantee.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of three years starting from the date of the City’s signature, with options to renew for two additional one-year terms at the City's discretion.
