Lighting Equipment Replacement for Auditorium and Theater at Leesville Road High School

Background
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is the largest school district in North Carolina and the 15th largest in the United States, serving approximately 162,000 students across 203 schools. The Arts Education Department is seeking to contract with a vendor to replace the lighting equipment in the Auditorium at Leesville Road High School in Raleigh, NC, to enhance performance lighting and control systems.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the replacement of performance lighting power, dimming, and control systems serving the Auditorium and Studio Theater. The contractor is responsible for delivery, storage, and handling of all equipment until project acceptance. A complete working system must be provided, including:

1. Four Johnson Systems EDI-60 Dimmer Processors.
2. Six Johnson Systems PWS-20P-RETRO-B Control Stations.
3. Two Johnson Systems PWS-20P-RETRO-2 Control Stations.
4. Two Johnson Systems PA-4A1 Adapter Plates.

The contractor must ensure that all materials meet specifications and provide a bill of materials for convenience. Substitutions are allowed with proper documentation. Installation must include shop drawings and submittals approved prior to commencing work.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by May 13, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Leesville Road High School located at 8410 Pride Way, Raleigh, NC 27613.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed and approved to do business in North Carolina. They must maintain insurance as specified and have experience performing similar duties. Vendors listed on either the State of North Carolina or Federal Government debarred vendor registries will be disqualified from consideration.
