Description

Scope of work includes complete vault replacement for 3 water meter vaults. Work includes installation of a precast vault next to existing vault, tie into existing water, install meter per CFPUA standards and demolish old vault. CFPUA will provide the meters.
Background
The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) is seeking bids for the Large Meter Vault Replacement Project: Phase 4. The project involves the complete replacement of three water meter vaults. CFPUA will provide the meters for installation. The project is funded by the State Revolving Fund (SRP) and has Minority Business Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) participation goals.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the complete replacement of three water meter vaults. This involves the installation of a precast vault next to the existing vault, tying into existing water, installing meters per CFPUA standards, and demolishing the old vault. The project is a single prime contract.

Period of Performance
Bids will be received until Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM. A pre-bid conference will be held on May 23, 2024, and bid opening will take place on June 18, 2024.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance bond and a construction payment bond as security in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount for faithful performance and payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the contract.
