Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance Services for South Piedmont Community College

Background
South Piedmont Community College, chartered in 1999, is the youngest of the 58 public community colleges in North Carolina. The college serves over 3000 students and offers associate degrees, program certificates, specialized training, and workforce development to the citizens of Anson and Union Counties.

The goal of this contract is to secure a qualified vendor to provide landscaping and lawn maintenance services for the college's campuses located in Union and Anson Counties.

Work Details
The contractor will provide year-round lawn care services for the following campus locations:

- OCH Campus (4209 Old Charlotte Hwy., Monroe, NC 28110) - approximately 19 acres with an additional 15 acres for a Disc Golf Course;
- Tyson Family Center for Technology (3509 Old Charlotte Hwy., Monroe, NC 28110) - approximately 9 acres;
- LLP Campus (680 US Hwy. 74W, Polkton, NC 28135) - approximately 10 acres;
- Lockhart Taylor Center (514 N. Washington St., Wadesboro, NC 28170) - approximately 1 acre.

Services include maintenance of lawns, adjoining parking lots, ornamental plant and flower beds, and general use spaces at each campus location. The selected vendor must provide all labor, materials, supplies, plants, and equipment necessary for grounds and landscape services on all properties owned or used by South Piedmont Community College. All equipment must be of commercial quality and free from major oil and fluid leaks.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of three (3) years starting from the date of final contract execution. The vendor is expected to begin work within thirty (30) business days after the effective date.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various campuses located in Union and Anson Counties in North Carolina.
