Background
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), specifically the Division of Highways, is seeking to award a contract for janitorial services at the Resident Engineer’s Office located in Winston Salem, Forsyth County.
The goal of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to select a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial services and major maintenance necessary to keep the state building clean and adequately supplied.

The vendor must also ensure that all personnel are qualified and adhere to professional standards.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is three (3) years, starting from the date of final contract execution or May 1, 2025, whichever is later.
The state reserves the right to extend the contract beyond this initial term with the vendor's agreement.

The services will be performed at the NCDOT Resident Engineer’s Office located at 1151 N Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Winston Salem, NC 27101.
Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered in good standing with North Carolina's Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP).
They are required to complete a Nationwide criminal background check for all personnel involved in providing services under this contract. Additionally, vendors must demonstrate experience in providing similar cleaning services at locations with a minimum size of 4,950 square feet and provide references from at least three previous clients.
