Janitorial Services for WCPSS Facilities in Fuquay Varina Area

Background
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is the largest school district in North Carolina and the 15th largest in the United States, serving approximately 160,000 students across 199 schools. The agency is seeking to secure a contract for janitorial services at facilities owned, leased, or possessed by WCPSS. This initiative aims to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across its educational facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services including but not limited to:

- Daily cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Trash removal
- Floor care (sweeping, mopping, waxing)
- Window cleaning
- Sanitization of surfaces

The services are to be performed at all WCPSS facilities located in the Fuquay Varina area. The contractor must ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment meet safety standards and are environmentally friendly.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and will run through June 30, 2026. There is an option for WCPSS to extend the contract for up to two additional one-year periods based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The janitorial services will be performed at various Wake County Public School System facilities located in the Fuquay Varina area.
