Janitorial Services for NC Research Campus Facilities in Kannapolis, NC

Background
NC State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide janitorial services for two buildings on the NC Research Campus located in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and safe environment for the facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive janitorial services, which include but are not limited to: daily cleaning of floors, restrooms, and common areas; waste removal; recycling services; maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment; and compliance with all safety regulations.

Specific tasks include:
- Daily vacuuming and mopping of floors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
- Dusting surfaces and furniture.
- Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners.
- Maintaining cleanliness in break rooms and kitchen areas.
- Performing periodic deep cleaning as required.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance evaluations.
