Janitorial Services for Court of Appeals and Justice Buildings in Raleigh, NC

Background
The Department of Administration (NCDOA), Facility Management Division, is responsible for providing efficient, healthy, and safe janitorial services for State buildings.

The Court of Appeals Building is located at 1 West Morgan Street, Raleigh, NC, and the Justice Building is located at 2 East Morgan Street, Raleigh, NC. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks proposals from experienced and qualified vendors to provide janitorial services in a professional manner, in compliance with the specifications outlined in the IFB. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Term Contract.

Work Details
The contract requires comprehensive janitorial services including but not limited to:

- Daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas;
- Trash removal;
- Floor care including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming;
- Window cleaning;
- Periodic deep cleaning tasks as specified.

Vendors must provide a detailed work plan that includes methods of cleaning, staffing schedules for day and evening shifts, equipment inventory lists for general cleaning and emergency services, and a proposed annual maintenance schedule. Additionally, vendors must demonstrate experience with similar contracts and provide references.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one year starting from February 1, 2025. The State has the option to renew the contract for up to two additional one-year terms at its discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Court of Appeals Building located at 1 West Morgan Street and the Justice Building located at 2 East Morgan Street in Raleigh, North Carolina.
