Background
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to obtain pricing for and select a qualified Vendor to provide janitorial services for the NC Department of Transportation, Division of Highways, Buncombe Maintenance Complex, Asheville, NC. The contract shall consist of an all-inclusive janitorial service and major maintenance including all reasonable and necessary labor, supervision, materials, equipment and supplies to keep the subject State building properly cleaned and supplied.
The purpose of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Term Contract.
Work Details
The contract shall have an initial term of three (3) years, beginning on the date of the final Contract execution (the “Effective Date”) or June 1, 2024, whichever is later. In addition, and with the Vendor’s concurrence, the State reserves the right to extend the Contract after the last active term.
The IFB includes detailed information on E-Procurement Fee, Notice to Vendors Regarding IFB Terms and Conditions, Bid Submittal requirements, Mandatory Site Visit details, Bid Questions process, Alternate Bids submission guidelines, Definitions, Acronyms, and Abbreviations relevant to the IFB.
