Janitorial Cleaning Services Needed - Charlotte Air National Guard

Background
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to obtain pricing for and select a qualified Vendor to provide janitorial services for the Charlotte Air National Guard. The contract shall consist of an all-inclusive janitorial service and major maintenance including all reasonable and necessary labor, supervision, materials, equipment and supplies to keep the subject State building properly cleaned and supplied.
Janitorial services are essential to comply with the required levels of hygiene, cleaning and disinfection to guarantee the safest possible environment.
The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Contract.

Work Details
The Contract shall have an initial term of one (1) year, beginning on the date of final Contract execution (the “Effective Date”). The Vendor shall begin work under the Contract immediately after the award of the contract.
At the end of the Contract’s initial term, the State shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to renew the Contract on the same terms and conditions for up to two (2) additional one-year terms.
The State will give the Vendor written notice of its intent to exercise each option no later than thirty (30) days before the end of the Contract’s then-current term.
In addition to any optional renewal terms, and with the Vendor’s concurrence, the State reserves the right to extend the Contract after the last active term.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year, with potential for renewal for up to two additional one-year terms at the State's discretion.

Place of Performance
The janitorial services are required at Charlotte Air National Guard located at 4930 Minuteman Way, Charlotte NC 28208.
