Jackson Library Addition and Renovation - Bid Packages Group 1 (Extended Deadline)

Background
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNC Greensboro) is issuing a solicitation for the Jackson Library Addition and Renovation project. The goal of this contract is to renovate and expand the existing library facilities to better serve the academic community. Skanska USA Building Inc. has been designated as the Construction Manager at Risk for this project, which emphasizes participation from Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MWBE).

- 03A/B Building & Site Concrete
- 04 Masonry
- 05 Steel & Miscellaneous Metals
- 06 Millwork
- 07A Metal Panels
- 07B Roofing
- 07C Waterproofing & Sealants
- 07D Spray Fireproofing
- 08A Doors & Hardware.

Bids will be accepted from prequalified contractors only.

Period of Performance
The bids are due on May 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The exact period of performance for the construction work will be determined upon awarding the contract.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at UNC Greensboro, specifically at Jackson Library located in Jarrell Hall, Room 032, 320 College Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27412.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be prequalified contractors. Skanska USA Building Inc. is committed to ensuring MWBE participation in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes.
