ISO 55000 Compliance and Asset Management System Development Consulting

Background
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, established in 1965, is seeking a consultant to assist with the development and implementation of an ISO 55000 compliant asset management system across its campus. This initiative aims to enhance the university's asset management practices and support its growth. Additionally, the consultant will help develop requirements for a separate RFP to secure a new asset management and work management software platform.

Work Details
The contract involves two primary deliverables:

1) Development and implementation of an ISO 55000 compliant asset management system, which includes conducting an assessment of current practices, designing a compliant framework, developing documentation and procedures, implementing the system, providing training and support, and ensuring scalability.

2) Analyzing requirements for an Enterprise Asset Management Information System (EAMIS) to replace the existing Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). This includes identifying potential vendors, creating a list of university requirements, conducting a comparative analysis of EAMIS solutions, recommending vendors and implementers, and developing a roadmap for implementation.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award in June 2025 and be completed by late 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte campus.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered in good standing with North Carolina's Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP). They are required to demonstrate experience with ISO 55000 implementation for similar organizations and provide references. Vendors must also comply with financial stability requirements and may need to undergo background checks for personnel involved in the project.
