Invitation for Bids: Global Produce and Floral Show 2023

Background
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to obtain pricing for the design, construction, and dismantling of a pavilion at the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) Global Produce and Floral Show.
This event will take place in Anaheim, California, from October 15-19, 2025. The show aims to facilitate interactions between growers and buyers, providing a platform for product sales.
NCDA&CS has secured booth space from IFPA and seeks a contractor to build a pavilion that accommodates exhibiting growers.

Work Details
The contract includes the following services:
1. Design and construction of two exhibit spaces:
- Exhibit Space #1047: A 20' x 30' area divided into six 10' x 10' exhibits with black, white, and green overlay laminate panels and metal extrusions.
- Exhibit Space #1055: A 20' x 20' area with overlay laminate panels and metal extrusions.
2. Specific items to be provided include:
- Custom counters with lockable storage, high-back counter stools, conference chairs, round conference tables, waste paper baskets, custom digital graphics for walls and counters, headers with company names on green laminate panels, plush carpet with padding, hanging signs with graphics.
3. The vendor must ensure that all areas are cleaned and operational by October 15, 2025.
4. All graphic files must be submitted within specified timeframes post-award.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from October 15-19, 2025.

Place of Performance
Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered as North Carolina vendors in good standing. They are required to provide documentation of past performance at similar events (specifically the IFPA Global Produce and Floral Show), three customer references attesting to quality of work, and must comply with HUB participation requirements by utilizing diverse firms as subcontractors.
