Installation of Badge Reader and Video Surveillance System at Keeter Training Center

Background
The project involves the new installation of a badge reader system and video surveillance system at the Keeter Training Center main facility located at 105 Keeter Center Dr. Raleigh, NC 27603. The project is issued by the City of Raleigh, Facilities and Operations Division.

Work Details
The project includes the installation of an Electronic Access Control and Intrusion System (EACIS) and a Video Surveillance System. The EACIS work involves using a Vykon JACE controller based on the Tridium Niagara Framework, configuring the controller to control access, integrating with the City of Raleigh Security Web Supervisor Station, installing card readers and credentials, and ensuring compatibility with the current City of Raleigh software.

The Video Surveillance System work includes coordinating with the Owner for network standards, installing Milestone components, providing recording server cabinet enclosures, IP security camera system, and ensuring all cameras are time-synced to the Owner’s NTP server. The Contractor shall also provide onsite professional services to assist in all systems’ initial setup and programming.

Period of Performance
The project schedule requires completion within 260 consecutive calendar days from the date on the Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed at Keeter Training Center located at 105 Keeter Center Dr. Raleigh, NC 27603.
