Indoor Bleacher Seat Removal and Replacement at Hendersonville Middle School

Background
Henderson County Public Schools is seeking vendors to provide services for the removal and replacement of bleacher seats at Hendersonville Middle School. The goal of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to ensure that all existing bleacher seats are replaced with new seating that meets specific requirements, enhancing the facilities for students and the community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:

1. Removal and disposal of all existing Interkal bleacher seats.
2. Providing and installing new Hussey Courtside 10” seats or equivalent, including engineered-to-order seat brackets and all necessary hardware.
3. New seats must be #187 Bright Red or an equivalent color, which must be pre-approved by the Director of Facilities, Chad Dillon, before ordering.
4. Vendors must detail any alterations needed to accommodate differences in row lengths based on the model of seats being quoted.

Period of Performance
The delivery and installation of the new bleacher seats must be completed no later than August 1, 2025.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be licensed to operate in North Carolina and qualified to provide the required services. They should submit detailed information with their bid response and ensure that all replacements function properly before payment is issued. Additionally, vendors are required to dispose of packing materials used during contract performance and clean the work area upon completion.
