In-Person Professional Development Facilitation for Industry & Trades Program (2026 2027), Including Materials Printing and Instruction of HRDQ and DiSC-Based Courses

Background
Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide primarily in-person professional development facilitation for its Industry & Trades Program’s clients during the 2026 – 2027 fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

The goal of this contract is to enhance the skills of businesses located in Guilford County, North Carolina, through tailored training courses built upon HRDQ and DiSC digital content.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing in-person professional development instruction, which includes:
- Facilitating training sessions that last a minimum of four hours per course.
- Printing all instructional materials and supplies required for each student.
- Delivering pre-designed courses that cover various topics such as Behavioral Interviewing, Business Writing, Communication Skills, Conflict Management, Customer Service, Delegation, Diversity & Inclusion, Emotional Intelligence, Leading Through Change, Managing Stress, Team Building, and Time Management.

Each course will have specific objectives that must be met to ensure effective learning outcomes.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026 and will run through June 30, 2027. There is an option for the State to renew the contract for up to two additional one-year terms at its discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily in Guilford County, North Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State and in good standing. They are required to demonstrate experience with similar projects and provide references. Additionally, vendors must comply with HUB participation goals by utilizing small and minority-owned businesses as subcontractors.
