HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services for Durham Public Schools

Background
Durham Public Schools is seeking proposals for HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services to ensure the efficient operation of their facilities. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive mechanical and HVAC services, including all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and insurance. The selected vendor will be responsible for developing service prices that conform to contract specifications applicable to various service locations.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and insurance needed for Mechanical and HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Repair at Durham Public School Facilities. The proposal must include total service costs based on seasonal requirements: 'Season Start Up/ Off-Season' and 'Operating Season/ In Season'. Proposers must examine the equipment list at each location to determine appropriate pricing.

Additionally, the proposal must include:
1) A Statement of Qualifications detailing the organization's size, stability, experience with similar projects, and a list of personnel assigned to the project;
2) A timeline and plan for transitioning from the current service provider within 30 days;
3) Project Pricing as outlined in Exhibit C;
4) A checklist of preventive maintenance tasks completed during each service visit.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one year from the date of award. The vendor is expected to begin work within thirty (30) business days after the effective date. Durham Public Schools has the option to renew the contract for up to two additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various Durham Public School facilities located in Durham, North Carolina.
